By purchasing a Wascana Archers membership, you agree to our terms of service.

  • All archers must sign in at indoor range in book provided before shooting.  Put your FULL name, date and time.
  • Absolutely NO crossbows, firearms, air rifles, pellet guns allowed.  Broadheads are only allowed at the outdoor range at the clearly marked "Broadheads Only" 3D foam targets in the infield practice course.
  • Your Wascana Archers membership is non-transferable, and only for yourself.  Each shooter must have valid membership, or pay the drop-in rate if accompanied by a member ($20 deposited to the lock box in an envelop with the guest's full name and age for insurance purposes).
  • At the indoor range, only shoot from the single marked shooting line for all distances.  Please roll the target stands to the desired distance towards the shooting line.  At the outdoor practice infield, only shoot from the marked shooting line.  Roll the target stands back to the 18m line when finished shooting.
  • At the indoor range, remove target papers from target butts when finished shooting.  Reusable papers can be placed neatly on the shelves, or garbage ones tossed in the garbage bin.  Please do not use a fresh new target paper for random fun shooting.  These targets cost our club, so please reuse old papers as much as possible.
  • At the indoor range, keep the interior door closed.
  • For the safety of other shooters at either of our facilities, no "sky drawing" allowed.  No archer shall draw a bow with with their bow hand above the top of their head when drawing on a horizontal plane, or parallel to the ground.
  • At either range, don't cross the shooting line to retrieve arrows until all archers have completed their round, and bows are set down.  For respect to other archers at the line, a "round" is considered 3 arrows.
  • At either range, each archer shall straddle the shooting line, with one foot on either side of the line.
  • Don't step off the shooting line if your immediate shooting-lane neighbours are at full draw.  You could accidentally bump them or distract them from making their shot.
  • Never draw your bow from behind the shooting line.
  • Never nock an arrow until the range is clear, and you are straddling the shooting line.
  • All youth under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult member when shooting during non-JOP times.  Non-shooting memberships are available at a discounted rate.
  • Report any damage (accidental or otherwise) to the facilities caused by miss-fired arrows, etc.
  • Photos may be taken during our shoots and events for our website.  Lets us know if you or your family would rather not be included.
